Muslim Students’ Society of Nigeria
(MSSN) Ede Central Branch, Ede in realization of a growing need for a balanced
education for the teeming children of members of Jamah and other Muslims,
started Al-Fareed Group of Schools with Al-Fareed Nursery and Primary School in
a rented apartment at Markaz area, Ede in September, 2002.
Al-Fareed Nursery and Primary School
started with seventeen (17) pupils, five classes (KG 1, Nursery 1, Nursery 2,
Primary 1 and Primary 2) and four (4) teachers.
In September 2007, annex of the
Nursery and Primary School at Allahu Lateef Sawmill Area, Ede was opened to
cater for the growing acceptance and requests of parents. Also, in September
2007, the secondary section of the school was founded with 71 students, two
classes (JSS 1 and JSS 2) and 8 members of staff at the same compound, Allahu
Lateef Sawmill Area, Ede and named AL-FAREED COLLEGE, EDE.
